01 - The Beginning
Initial Consultation & Brief
Every project begins with a visit to your garden, where we can discuss your ideas, how you would like to use the space and what you hope to achieve.
I will consider the existing garden, its surroundings and any practical requirements before putting together a detailed design brief.
A measured topographical survey is then arranged to provide the accurate information needed to begin the design.
02 - The Creative Process
Concept Design & Detailed Drawings
Once the brief is agreed, I begin developing the design, exploring the layout, planting, materials and features that will bring the garden together.
The initial concept is presented through plans, mood boards and supporting visuals, helping you imagine how the finished garden will look and feel.
Following your feedback and approval, the design is developed into a detailed package of drawings, planting plans, lighting proposals and material specifications, providing the information needed for contractors to prepare their quotations.
03 - From Vision to Reality
Bringing the Design to Life
Once the design is complete, I can introduce you to trusted landscaping companies who can turn the design into reality.
I also offer a separate project monitoring service, providing design oversight during construction, answering design-related questions and helping ensure the finished garden reflects the original vision.
From selecting beautiful pots and furniture to sourcing those final decorative details, I can also help you put the finishing touches in place.
